Why BODDAN

Serious documents, done properly

A medically-retired Australian veteran with real experience in policy, government, and technical systems, doing the work himself to a professional standard.

Real experience with the systems

A veteran with a background in policy, government, and IT, who knows how APS panels, funders, and formal processes actually read what you send them.

A revision round is built in

Every package includes a revision round, and the larger ones include two. If something is not right, tell me and I fix it. You get a finished piece, not a draft to fix yourself.

Honest about what the work can do

No fabricated reviews and no inflated claims. No promises about won tenders, granted claims, interview calls, or rankings, because no honest operator can promise those. The promise is the method and a deliverable you can rely on.

Veteran-owned and operated

Run by a medically-retired Australian veteran who knows what it is to deal with a system that wears you down. Straight answers, a fair price, and your work kept private.

How it works

A clear path from job to finished work

Here is exactly how a job runs, start to finish.

1

You send the job

Tell me what you need, attach what you have, and give me your deadline. Use the enquiry path, or order directly on Fiverr where the listing is live.

2

I confirm the scope, before you commit

I come back with a clear scope: what I will deliver, what it costs, and how long it takes. If your job is bigger than a package, I tell you up front and quote it honestly. Nothing starts until we agree.

3

I produce the work

I do the job. I use AI to work faster and search wider than I could by hand, and the judgement and the writing are mine.

4

I check the work

Before anything reaches you, facts and sources are verified against the record, and the work is read for accuracy and tone.

5

I revise it with you

You get a revision round on every package, and more on the larger ones. If something is not right, tell me and I fix it. The aim is a finished piece you can use.

6

It is delivered, signed off

You get the finished work in the formats you need, with my name on it and an itemised invoice on request. And the door stays open for the next job.

Services

Nine services, one standard

Writing, research, official paperwork, data work, and small tech builds, done properly by an Australian veteran. All prices are AUD and exclude GST. BODDAN is not GST-registered, so no GST is added. Prices are shown as "from" figures.

Verified research and applications

Verified Research and Fact-Checking

Know which claims stand up, before it goes public. I test factual claims against primary sources and confirm that every citation actually resolves and says what it has been credited with saying. The same care produces verified research briefs, market and competitor research, due diligence, and literature reviews, each one cited and checked.

What you get

  • A verdict log marking every claim and citation Verified, Unverified, or False, each with the source checked and a one-line reason.
  • Fix-tickets and a prioritised risk summary, with the highest-risk items called out first.
  • For briefs and reviews, a decision-ready document with key findings, cited sources, and a clear "what I would watch" note, as a clean PDF plus an editable copy.

Who it is for

Writers, researchers, and consultants who need their work to survive scrutiny. Agencies and publishers doing due diligence. Founders sizing a market or vetting a supplier or hire. Students confirming references resolve. Anyone who inherited a document and needs to know what in it is true.

The honest method, and the limits

Wide machine search, then a hard human verification pass that checks every citation back to the original record, from public, reputable sources only, with no fabricated sources, ever. I confirm sourcing is sound and accurately represented, not that your conclusions are true. Due diligence is open-source only, not a licensed background check, and I never guarantee a conclusion.

Applications and career documents

Applications, Resumes and Cover Letters

Applications written to the standard the system actually reads. Selection criteria, government and general resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn, and bios, including a flagship public-sector and veteran package for one advertised role. I am a medically-retired veteran with working knowledge of how government hiring and panel scoring work, and I translate service and civilian experience into the language panels recognise.

What you get

  • STAR selection-criteria responses, around 150 words each, mapped to your real, scored evidence.
  • Achievement-led, ATS-clean resumes tailored to the role, as an editable Word file plus PDF.
  • Tailored cover letters written to the specific advert.
  • The flagship APS, government, and veteran package: criteria, a government resume, and a matched cover letter for one role, bundled below the cost of the three separately.
  • LinkedIn rewrites and professional bios.

Who it is for

APS, state-government, council, university, hospital, and NGO applicants. Transitioning veterans. Career-changers and people with a strong history but weak documents. Anyone facing an "address the selection criteria" application that has them stuck.

The honest method, and the limits

AI-accelerated drafting, fully human-reviewed, written only from the evidence you provide, with nothing recycled or invented. No interview, shortlisting, or job guarantees, because the panel and the employer decide. I will not invent achievements, qualifications, dates, or awards, and I do not complete employer-set assessments you must do unaided.

Business and professional documents

Business and Professional Documents

Documents that read like a bigger outfit built them. I take your information, figures, and evidence and turn them into structured, professional documents that earn trust: business plans, grant applications, proposals and tenders, white papers and policy briefs, pitch decks, SOPs, reports, investor one-pagers, and solicitor-ready policy drafts.

What you get

  • Formatted documents as a clean PDF plus an editable Word or Google Docs file. Decks and one-pagers also come as an editable Canva file.
  • The right artifacts: executive summaries, cited market analysis, financial summaries and projections built from your figures, grant responses with a budget narrative, tender responses mapped to the criteria with a compliance matrix, pitch narratives with speaker notes, SOPs with a role matrix, and structured reports with recommendations.
  • A definitions section on white papers and policy drafts, and a walk-through call on the larger packages.

Who it is for

Founders seeking finance and small businesses formalising for lenders. Nonprofits, community groups, and individuals chasing grants. Contractors, consultants, and suppliers bidding and tendering, including to government. Businesses building authority with a white paper. Teams documenting their processes, and stores and employers needing policy drafts.

The honest method, and the limits

AI-accelerated and human-reviewed, built from your own information and figures, with each source checked to confirm it exists and says what is attributed to it. No guarantee of funding, investment, a contract award, or legal sufficiency. Grant work is a fixed or milestone fee, never a percentage, and policy drafts are for your solicitor to finalise, not legal advice.

Indicative packages

ServiceFrom (AUD, ex-GST)Notes
Business plan$450Lean plan up to 8 pages. Up to $2,200 for an investor or lender plan.
Grant application$390One small grant. Up to $1,900 for a major or complex grant.
White paper or policy brief$6504 to 6 page brief, cited. Up to $3,200 for an authority paper.
Business proposal or tender response$350Short proposal. Up to $1,600 for a major tender.
Pitch deck$300Content and structure. Up to $1,500 for an investor-grade designed deck.
SOP and process documentation$180A single SOP. Up to $1,400 for a full process manual.
Company policy pack$220A single solicitor-ready draft. Up to $1,400 for a full pack.
Report and executive summary$150A standalone executive summary. Up to $1,500 for a full report.
Investor one-pager$120Copy only. Up to $600 for a polished, deck-aligned one-pager.

Grant applications, white papers, tenders, SOPs, and policy packs run on a longer timeframe, typically from 14 days, because they carry cited sourcing, a definitions section where needed, and more structure to work through. The exact timeframe is confirmed before you order.

Marketing and Content

Copy written to convert, checked by a person. I write marketing and content copy built on proven structure, then read it against the brief and cut the filler, so what you publish sounds like a real brand and is yours to keep. SEO articles, website and landing-page copy, product descriptions, email campaigns, ad copy, social captions and content calendars, brand naming, and video and VSL scripts.

What you get

  • Finished, formatted, ready-to-use copy in a Google Doc or Word file and platform-ready formats.
  • SEO articles with proper headings and a meta title and description, conversion-structured page copy, unique benefit-led product descriptions, send-ready emails with subject lines, platform-ready ad copy with A/B variations, and content calendars with on-brand captions.
  • Curated brand-name shortlists with taglines, and ready-to-record scripts with hook, retention beats, and a call to action.

Who it is for

Small businesses and founders, agencies needing on-brief work, e-commerce sellers, founders monetising an email list, media buyers running paid ads, creators struggling to post consistently, brands naming or rebranding, and YouTubers and course sellers who need a sharper hook and a sales script that holds attention.

The honest method, and the limits

AI drafts fast and wide, then a human pass curates the angle, holds the brand voice, and cuts the filler, and that pass is the product. Copy is original, never spun and never plagiarised. No guarantee of rankings, traffic, open or click rates, conversions, sales, or followers, and no fake reviews, bought followers, or detector-evasion tricks.

Editing and Language

Your words, made to read the way you meant them. Proofreading and copy-editing, rewriting and paraphrasing, plain-English simplifying, summarising long documents down to what matters, transcription, and AI-assisted, human-checked translation. The human pass is the product, and I will tell you honestly where a job sits outside what this service should do.

What you get

  • Proofreading and editing: a corrected document with tracked changes plus a clean final copy, in your chosen spelling convention, with a note on recurring issues.
  • Rewriting in your chosen tone, plain-English simplifying, and summarisation pulling the important details, figures, and decisions out of a long document.
  • Transcription with speaker labels and timestamps, and accurate translation with a human review pass, consistent terminology, and the formatting kept.

Who it is for

Anyone sending a document to a client, lecturer, publisher, or audience. People with clunky or repetitive content. Anyone facing policies, terms, or technical material that needs to be made plain. People who must digest long reports or contracts. Buyers who want audio transcribed, and anyone needing content in another language.

The honest method, and the limits

A fast AI first pass, then a person reviews and edits every job against the source before delivery, and that judgement is what you are paying for. Editing improves your text, it does not ghost-write new sections or fact-check unless that is what you ordered, and it will not disguise someone else's work as original. Translation here is not certified, sworn, or NAATI work, and I will refer you to a certified translator where one is legally required.

Data, tech, and admin

Data and Document Handling

Your data and documents, clean and usable. Data entry and cleaning, spreadsheet and Excel automation, data extraction from PDFs and scans, OCR, document conversion and formatting, and fillable PDF forms. The difference here is a real human accuracy check on every batch, not a one-click convert-and-hope.

What you get

  • Data entry and cleaning into a clean spreadsheet to your structure, with duplicates removed, formats standardised, and anything ambiguous flagged as a question rather than guessed.
  • Spreadsheet automation: built-and-tested formulas, lookups, validation, dashboards, and macros, in your actual sheet with a plain-English note on how it works.
  • Data extraction into a clean Excel or CSV, OCR proofed page by page, document conversion and formatting, and tested interactive fillable PDF forms.

Who it is for

Small businesses migrating contacts, products, or invoices. Anyone with data trapped in PDFs, scans, or scattered files. People stuck on a broken formula or repeating the same manual steps every week. Bookkeepers pulling invoices into accounting-ready sheets. Researchers digitising printed records. Anyone tired of print-sign-scan-email forms.

The honest method, and the limits

A fast tooling pass, then a person verifies the output against your source before delivery: every batch reviewed, every page proofed, every formula tested against real numbers. Your files are kept private, processed on a private local workflow, never reused or fed to any public model. Each service stays in its lane, very poor scans limit what is recoverable, and anything over a package cap is quoted first.

Indicative packages

ServiceFrom (AUD, ex-GST)Notes
Data entry and cleaning$35A small batch up to 250 rows. Up to $220 for a bulk clean.

AI and Tech

Custom AI and small builds, built and tested by a person. A document-grounded AI assistant over your own files, a scoped chatbot, a tested prompt library, an AI automation, a custom script, or a landing page. Deployed on your own keys and hosting, and handed over as yours to keep with no lock-in.

What you get

  • A custom AI assistant or RAG build grounded in your own documents, answering from retrieved evidence and citing the source, with document ingestion, a searchable index, and a handover doc.
  • A live, scoped chatbot with enquiry and lead capture and a human-handoff path.
  • A tested, documented prompt library, an AI workflow and automation tested on real examples, scripts with clean, commented code, and a designed, mobile-responsive landing page or small site.
  • Walk-through calls and post-delivery bug-fix support are included on the higher tiers.

Who it is for

Businesses whose team searches internal documents by hand. Support and ops teams wanting after-hours answers and lead capture. Consultants and agencies standardising how they use AI. Solo operators who want their tools to talk to each other. People doing repetitive file or data tasks, and tradies and small businesses needing a fast, mobile web presence.

The honest method, and the limits

AI-accelerated and human-engineered: I design and test the system myself and hand it over working, with nothing shipped until it passes real examples, and you own everything delivered with no lock-in. You provide and own your own keys, hosting, and accounts and pay the running costs directly with no markup. I cannot guarantee an AI will never be wrong or hallucinate, and I will not build anything that needs terms-breaking scraping, paywall bypass, or unlawful harvesting of personal data.

Education and Explainers

Clear learning material, built to teach. Study notes and summaries, how-to and explainer guides, course and curriculum outlines, and worksheets and quizzes with a verified answer key. Built from your source material or a defined topic, drafted with AI and reviewed line by line by a person for clarity, accuracy, and the right level.

What you get

  • Study notes and summaries with key concepts, plain-English explanations, and on the larger packages a summary sheet and a key-term glossary.
  • How-to and explainer guides with an overview, ordered steps, tips, common mistakes, and a short FAQ.
  • Course and curriculum outlines with measurable objectives, modules and lessons in teaching order, and a progression map.
  • Worksheets and quizzes with mixed question types and a full, human-checked answer key. All delivered as a PDF plus an editable file.

Who it is for

Students and self-learners building study material. Tutors, teachers, and trainers. Professionals studying for certification. Businesses writing help-centre, onboarding, or product docs. Coaches and creators building an online course, and parents and homeschoolers.

The honest method, and the limits

AI drafts fast, then a person reviews for clarity, accuracy against your source, and the right level, and every worksheet answer key is human-checked. These are learning and teaching aids only. They do not complete, sit, or answer a student's graded or assessed work, and if a request is really "do my assignment", I decline it.

Personal and Admin

The jobs you can do but would rather hand over. Formal letters, important emails, meeting minutes from a recording, trip itineraries, and form-filling. The tedious or awkward jobs you would rather hand to someone who will get the tone right, do it properly, and keep it private.

What you get

  • Formal letters for complaints, disputes, and requests, with the right tone and structure, as an editable doc plus PDF.
  • Email drafting as paste-ready text with subject lines and a clean structure.
  • Meeting minutes from a recording: attendees, topics, decisions, and an action list with owners and due dates, with a verbatim transcript on request.
  • Itinerary and trip planning with timings, sensible routing, and cost notes, and form-filling completed accurately from your details, with a missing-field check.

Who it is for

Anyone facing a company, landlord, or insurer who wants to be taken seriously. People who know what they want to say but want it said professionally. Busy people offloading awkward letters and emails. Committees and community groups without a minute-taker. Travellers wanting a well-paced plan, and anyone facing a fiddly admin form.

The honest method, and the limits

AI drafts fast, then I rewrite and polish so it reads like a real person wrote it, with the right tone, and you provide the facts. This is drafting and organising, not legal, migration, or financial advice, and not impersonation. I do not send anything as you or log into your accounts, and I do not complete visa or migration applications, court or tribunal forms, statutory declarations, or tax returns.

About BODDAN

My name is Kyle Boddan. I run BODDAN myself, from Cessnock in the Hunter. You deal with me directly, and I do the work.

I am a medically-retired Australian veteran. Before that I spent years inside systems, military and otherwise, learning how they actually work and where they break down. I write APS, state-government, and veteran applications to the standard the public sector actually reads them by, because I know that standard. I am not an ex-public servant and I will never pretend to be one. What I bring is a veteran who has been through the forms that are built to wear you down, and who knows how the machinery reads what you send it.

How it works is simple. I confirm the scope of a job before you commit, so we both know exactly what you are getting. I do the work myself and check the facts against the record. Every package includes a revision round, so if something is not right, I fix it.

I am honest about what the work can do. I will tell you straight what a strong application, a well-built bid, or a careful fact-check can achieve, and just as straight what no one can promise you. I do not guarantee won tenders, granted claims, interview calls, or rankings, because no honest operator can. I do not invent achievements, qualifications, or sources to make something look stronger than it is.

I use AI to move faster and search wider, and I tell you that openly, because it is the reason the work is quick and affordable. The judgement and the checking are mine.

ABN 97 728 052 912 · Cessnock, NSW · Veteran-owned and operated · Not registered for GST, so no GST is added; an itemised invoice under the ABN is available on request.

Questions

Frequently asked

Straight answers on how jobs run, pricing, and how your material is handled.

Do you use AI?

Yes, and I tell you so openly. The work is AI-accelerated and human-reviewed. AI helps me work faster and search wider than I could by hand. The job is then checked against the record, with a revision round included. If you would prefer no AI involvement at all, tell me before we start and I will be straight about whether that is the right fit.

Who actually does the work?

I do. My name is Kyle Boddan and I run BODDAN myself from Cessnock, NSW. The same person who scopes your job does the job.

What is your turnaround?

Three business days is the floor on every job, so a finished piece is checked and scheduled rather than rushed back in an hour. Larger and more involved jobs take longer by design, and some document work runs from 14 days. The exact timeframe is always confirmed before you order.

How do revisions work?

Every package includes at least one revision round, and the larger packages include two. Revisions are about getting the agreed job right. They are not for redrawing the scope, which is why we confirm exactly what you are getting before any work starts.

What about refunds and scope?

The best protection is the scope conversation up front. Before any work begins, I confirm what I will deliver, what it costs, and how long it takes, so there are no surprises at delivery. Where you order through Fiverr, that platform's buyer protection and resolution process also applies. If something is genuinely not what we agreed, tell me and we sort it out.

Can you guarantee a result, like a won tender, a granted claim, an interview, or a top ranking?

No, and I will not pretend otherwise. No honest operator can promise those, because the panel, the employer, the assessor, the search engine, or the market makes that call. What I promise is the method and a deliverable you can rely on: scoped before you commit, checked against the record, with a revision round included.

Can you do something that is not listed?

Probably. Send me the job and the deadline. If I can do it well I will scope it and quote it honestly, and if it is outside what I should take on I will tell you that too, and point you in the right direction where I can.

Is my work kept private?

Yes. Your files and details are kept confidential. For data and document work they are processed on a private local workflow, never reused or fed to any public model, and working copies are deleted on request after sign-off.

Will you write or do my graded schoolwork?

No. I produce study notes, guides, outlines, and practice worksheets as learning aids, and I will help you understand and prepare. I do not complete exams, assessments, or assignments that you must do unaided and submit as your own.

Do you handle official or legal documents?

I draft documents like company policies, terms, and formal letters, but I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice. Those drafts are for your solicitor to review and finalise. I do not provide certified or sworn translations, complete visa or migration applications, or fill in court forms or statutory declarations, and I will tell you when a job needs a licensed professional.

Can we work off-platform?

You can enquire here directly. Where a job is available on Fiverr, ordering there gives you the platform's payment protection and review system, which is worth having while a new business earns its track record. Either way, the work and the standard are the same.

Do you add GST? Can I get an invoice?

BODDAN is not GST-registered, so no GST is added to any price. An itemised invoice showing the ABN is available on request.

Where are you based?

Cessnock, in the Hunter region of NSW. The work is done remotely, so location is no barrier, and I work to Australian conventions by default.
